first of all
choose a picture
preferrably one that doesn’t have stray hair lol
i chose this one

open it in paintshop pro
go to selections — select all
go to edit — copy

file –new
make your new file a little bigger than the first pic
about 50 px bigger..width and height
and it has to be transparent
like this:

now go to the selection tool thats third symbol in your tools…
choose the one that looks like a lasso

now match your settings to mine:
here:

if u can’t see that it has the lasso then “point to point” ,mode:replace ,feather:0, smoothing:0 ,and check the anti-alias box
okay so start outlining the pic with your freehand tool
this is how i started here:

then click delete when you’ve selected
and it’ll look like this:

and keep doing the rest of the picture with the lasso tool then hit delete when u’ve made your selection..
crop your pic til it looks right…crop is the 5th tool down..in your tools
do this:

ta-da! a psd wow! lol
lookie final psd image

save as nameofphoto.psd
like such:

and that is IT! doneeeeeeee!
